Camera Club
We're an informal group of like minded people who meet once a month to discuss and display photographs and share experiences. There is no membership fee, but pay £1.50 each at meeting they attend,
to defray room hire costs.
The club offers a warm welcome to photographers of all abilities. From complete beginners to the
experienced, it has something for everyone. The ‘focus’ of the club is to help members improve and enjoy all aspects of photography with advice freely offered.
Monthly sessions are made up of Workshops and Focus points. These consist of presentations of
varying subjects and techniques from the world of photography. Competitions are held monthly and quarterly, judged by other attending members. The aim of the competitions is to encourage
members to ‘go out and shoot’, keeping in mind the techniques discussed and newly acquired skills.
The Club usually meets on the last Monday of each month, with the exception of August and December, at 7.30 pm in
the Pritchard Room at the Birchmeadow. As a member, you will receive a newsletter from the last meeting with links to download the latest presentations.

Play Guitar - with the U3A
We meet twice monthly .... at 10 to 12 on the 2nd and 4th Thursday. The group's quite small and very friendly, and aims to have fun playing and singing along to 60s pop, folk, and anything else that group members prefer.
The group is aimed at beginners and intermediate players, but experienced players are very welcome. The Play Guitar sessions are focussed on group activity ... as such it is not a venue for open mike or individual playing.
The group operates under the Much Wenlock U3A organisation, and further details of the group, and a copy of the songbook can be found at this link.
